Research Area on “Localizing SDGs through System Dynamics-triggered Collaborative Platforms”

Center for Sustainability and Ecological Transition (University of Palermo)

The Doctoral Program in Ecological Transition is dedicated to addressing the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the UN 2030 Agenda, tackling global issues like climate change, biodiversity loss, and resource equity. It provides interdisciplinary training through research and experimental development, promoting environmental, economic, and social sustainability. By incorporating methodologies from management, engineering, economics, urban architecture, medicine, and biology, the program prepares candidates to comprehensively analyze ecological issues. Graduates are equipped to develop, implement, and evaluate sustainable solutions that enhance global environmental protection and human well-being.

The Ph.D. Program includes various research areas, among which one that focus on adopting System Dynamics to enhance Collaborative Platforms for SDG localization.

We look forward candidates interested in this field of research.
